In der vergangenen Nacht fand das grosse Spektakel rund um die Academy Awards in Los Angeles statt.<\/p>\n

\nDie meisten Oscars, in den grossen Kategorien, konnte „Million Dollar Baby“<\/strong><\/a> von Clint Eastwood<\/strong><\/a> abr?umen, das w?ren im Einzelnen den Oscar f?r den besten Film, die beste Hauptdarstellerin, die beste Regie und den besten Nebendarsteller.

Der als Favorit ins Vergaberennen gestartete Film „Aviator“<\/strong><\/a> konnte keinen der ganz grossen Oscars holen, ging jedoch mit 5 Oscars, unter anderem dem Oscar f?r Cate Blanchet<\/strong><\/a>, als beste Nebendarstellerin, nicht leer aus.

Jamie Foxx<\/strong><\/a> erhielt den Oscar f?r den besten Hauptdarsteller und Martin Scorsese<\/strong><\/a> ging zum sechsten Mal leer aus.

Die deutschen Filme Der Untergang sowie Die Geschichte vom weinenden Kamel gingen ebenfalls ohne Oscar wieder ins Bett.<\/p>\n

Eine Notiz am Rande, in der vorangegangenen Nacht konnten sich George W. Bush und Halle Berry als schlechteste „Schauspieler“ ihrer Zunft f?hlen, sie wurden mit der goldenen Himbeere ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n

Berry was named worst actress of 2004 by the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation for her performance in „Catwoman“ and she showed up to accept her „Razzie“ carrying the Oscar she won in 2002 for „Monster’s Ball.“<\/p>\n

„They can’t take this away from me, it’s got my name on it!“ she quipped. A raucous crowd cheered her on as she gave a stirring recreation of her Academy Award acceptance speech, including tears.<\/p>\n

She thanked everyone involved in „Catwoman,“ a film she said took her from the top of her profession to the bottom.<\/p>\n

„I want to thank Warner Brothers for casting me in this piece of shit,“ she said as she dragged her agent on stage and warned him „next time read the script first.“<\/p>\n

It is rare for a Razzie winner to show up at the spoof awards held on the night before Oscars — but Berry did, saying her mother taught her that to be „a good winner you had to be a good loser first.“ She received a standing ovation. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
